Academician & Visionary
Rana A. Singh, a distinguished Academician in the field of Agriculture Science, was born in Gorakhpur District of Uttar Pradesh.
He is currently working as Chairman, Society for Advancement of Science and Social Environment (SASSE), Lucknow, India. His area of expertise is supported by excellent research work pertinent to Genetics & Plant Breeding. He is recipient of ten prestigious / notable awards including the Fellow Award, Young Scientist Award, Excellent Researcher Award, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Researcher Award, Academic Fellow Award, and the Devi Sansthan (City Montessori School–Lucknow) Certificate of Distinguished Service Award.
He has several national and international publications to his credit. Mr. Singh is author and editor of three books namely Basics of Plant Breeding, Revolutionizing Agriculture: Modern Trends in Allied Sectors & Global Innovations in Agriculture and Allied Industries. He also holds two patents granted by Govt. of India in 2025.

Expert Plant Breeder & Researcher
Dr. R.D.P. Singh, a distinguished Plant Breeder–cum–Geneticist with about 29 years of experience in Sugarcane Research.
He is currently working as Secretary & Executive Director, SASSE, Lucknow. Dr. Singh is Former Joint Director (I/c) & Head, Division of Plant Breeding, Sugarcane Research Station, Gorakhpur (U.P). He has developed 13 sugarcane varieties which have been released & notified, including UP 05125 and UP 09453, the latter being effective in doubling farmer's income.
He is recipient of several prestigious awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award by Astha Foundation, RASSA Maharshi Samman, and Performance Excellent Award by GISR Foundation. At present, Dr. Singh is a member of 13 professional societies.
